I don't know if this is a cool, wise way to stay in contact with people. I don't really even know if people will read this... but I thought I would at least try it.

Heather and I just recently got back from hume lake. We took a few days and visited our friend from college, Shannon Byrne, who works up there. It was great. We really like Shannon and are thankful that we got to catch up with her and share what is going on in each other's lives. We didn't realize how much we missed her company until we got up there (we also missed her spinach dip!). Hume was beautiful, too. They also have the best disc golf course I have ever played.

About two weeks ago, we bought a car. The Civic was about to die on us and we felt like we needed something more practical. We bought a 2006 Chevy Aveo. We feel like it will last us a while and we won't need to buy a different car when we decide to have kids (don't worry, we're still gonna wait for a few years).
